Brian Powley's 10 Commandments for Success

(Plagiarized from some other guy, but adopted as my own)

I.

THRIVE ON PRESSURE

Beware of the wounded tiger,

Especially if he's motivated.

II.

ESTABLISH GOOD HABITS

Do those "Feared Things" first

Get organized---NOW!

Procrastinate the right way

Put off doing the insignificant

III.

MASTER THE ART OF COMMUNICATION

Listen more---Talk less

IV.

BUILD SELF ESTEEM

Feel good

"Deserve" success

Everyone wants to believe they have value

V.

ALWAYS BE POSITIVE

Change is the chance to become successful

The more trying the times, the more positive you must be.

VI.

LEARN FROM ADVERSITY

There are parts of life we don't understand.

Sometimes we must force ourselves to appreciate the good still around us; otherwise, the bad will ruin our lives

VII.

LEARN FROM ROLE MODELS

Learn from their traits.

Learn from their mistakes.

Why reinvent the wheel?

VIII.

BE FEROCIOUSLY PERSISTENT

Develop a PH D attitude:

POOR

HUNGRY

DRIVEN

Let your passion become an all consuming desire to succeed.

IX.

SET DEMANDING GOALS

Understand your weaknesses and conquer them one-by-one.

Goals helps us overcome our weaknesses.

X.

SURVIVE SUCCESS

Today's success is often tomorrow's failure.

Never forget what you did right.

Write your secrets to success and study them.

GOOD FORTUNE DOESN'T CAUSE SUCCESS:

AN ENTIRE LIFESTYLE OF ACHIEVEMENT DOES.
